Juarez Lawn Service

Services

Everything we do —in plain English.

We’ll quote any of these on-site. The price you get is the price you pay — no surprise add-ons, no upsells.

  • Weekly Mowing

Same morning, same crew, every week. Bermuda or St. Augustine — cut at the right height for Buda summers so the lawn keeps moisture and never burns.

Weekly or bi-weekly mowing on a fixed day. Sharp blades, mulch-cut by default, bagging on request. Cut height steps up through May–September so the roots stay shaded through 100° afternoons. Edged at every visit, walks and drives blown clean before we leave. We text the night before if rain is going to push the schedule.

  • Edging & Trimming

Power-edged lines along the drive, walks, and beds — and string-trim around fences, posts, and live oaks the mower can’t reach.

Hard edges along concrete that stay sharp the full week. Careful trim work around cedar fence posts, mailboxes, A/C units, and the trees you don’t want scarred. Final pass with the blower so nothing carries onto the porch or the street.

  • Bed Maintenance

Hand-pull weeds from beds, freshen mulch, prune perennials at the right time, and keep the front yard looking like someone tends it.

Hand-pulled weeds (no glyphosate near edibles unless you ask). Seasonal pruning timed to each plant rather than the calendar — salvia and lantana cut back at the right window, not all at once. Fresh mulch top-up every spring and fall to keep moisture in and weeds suppressed.

  • Spring & Fall Cleanups

The big two — winter dieback out in spring, oak-leaf cleanup in November and February when the live oaks finally drop.

Spring: cut back winter-killed perennials, remove storm debris, edge beds, refresh mulch. Fall + late winter: Buda’s live oaks shed twice — we plan around it instead of pretending they’re evergreen. We bag the leaves, blow out the beds and gutter line from the ground, and prep the lawn for dormancy.

  • Sprinkler Tune-Ups

Spring start-up, summer adjustments around stage-2 watering rules, fall blow-out — and we fix the head you keep stepping on.

Seasonal start-up and shutdown, head replacements, broken-line repairs, controller programming around current Hays County watering schedules, and a walk-through with you so every zone is hitting what it should and not the driveway.

  • Mulch Installation

Hardwood, cedar, or dyed black — installed at 2 to 3 inches so the beds look fresh and the bermudagrass quits invading.

Bulk-delivered mulch (or bagged, your call), hand-spread to a consistent 2 to 3 inches around plants and trees with a clean edge against the lawn. We pull the old clumped mulch first if it needs it.

  • Hedge & Shrub Trimming

Boxwood, pittosporum, holly, esperanza — shaped clean without scalping back to brown wood.

We time hedge work to each plant’s flush — boxwood and holly in the cooler months, pittosporum and esperanza after their bloom. Cleaned up at the end so no clippings end up in the bed.

  • One-Time Yard Reset

Yard got away from you while you were out of town? We come once, cut everything back, and you decide if you want us back next week.

Most weekly customers started here. We come once for a full reset — overgrown grass dropped in two passes (no scalp), beds cleaned out, edges re-cut, mulch optional. No commitment to weekly after; the price is fixed up front.

Starts at $150 · per visit

Most weekly customers add cleanups, mulch, and the odd hardscape job — there’s usually a flat-rate way to handle that.
